About the Calendar
This 2024 Charity Calendar has been conceived, collated, and funded by Friends of Hove Lagoon in partnership with the Hove Deep Sea Anglers Club. All the photographs were kindly donated to us by local amateur (and one professional!) photographers.
All proceeds from the sales of our calendar will be split between three important local charities:
RNLI Shoreham Harbour saves lives in our seas. The Lifeboat, the Station and the shop on Brighton Road are wholly run by volunteers and rely on donations and shop sales for their highly important work.
Martlets is a local charity providing essential care to people in Brighton and Hove and surrounding areas, who are affected by terminal illness. It relies on volunteers, shop sales, campaigns and donations to fund its services.
Hove Surf Life Saving Club runs regular sea-based sessions to train children and adults in Surf Life Saving skills. It is run solely by volunteers and relies on its small membership fees and donations to keep going . It is supported by Lagoon Watersports and is based at Hove Lagoon.
